The Daka comes with a single 485cfm blower to feed the heated air to the main furnace plenum, but its airflow has diminished, so I'm looking to upgrade to a larger fan, and get more heat into the duct work so we are warmer. Due to the added power of a larger blower, it will mean some adjustments to the cold return ducts, but that is fine.

I'm open to suggestions....

Already improved the draft for the smoke to exit.
Picked up some extra firebrick to line the firebox, but have to look at feasability of adding some secondary air.

Could you find someone with an old blower from a furnace? I have one that I kep from the old furnace in our old home. Alot of times they can be found pretty cheap.

That would be nice to find, maybe CL will show somthing.

Found plenty of secondhand blowers and assorted hvac stuff on CL, and the prices vary, but $20 and up means I could make some mistakes and still be ahead from buying new.
