I inherited a yard with 4 fruit trees: Apple, Pear, Plum, and Cherry. All of them have this thick Amber sap stuff oozing out of them. It's pretty yucky, sticky stuff. What do I do?

I'm in the Pacific Northwest - Southern BC.

TIA.

Borer or bactirial canker. They can invade due to other primary stresses, like age. Usualy not treatable. The site may have other info on this.

i agree it sounds like a bleeding canker. just prune out the dead limbs and any crossing limbs and start a spray program for any other pest and hope for the best . You cant treat the canker but you can improve the health of the trees by treating other insect and disease problems.Ive seen that canker on peaches and plums and cherries but not on apples
