Slabbed Some Pecan Today

I thought I would show you guys some more of the fruits of your labor.
After all you guys taught me almost everything I know about milling and chainsaws.
Thanks again for all of your great posts on subjects
to numerous to mention. I have finally been able to get a little time
to do some milling and here are a couple of pics for you guys
to check out. Here is a picture of my Homade Mill

I have extended it to make a 30" cut now.


I got 5 or 6 of these 24" pecan slabs. A couple got rained on
last night and stained a little though.

And here are a couple of the things that I have milled up lately.
In the back corner is cedar, middle is some of the pecan, and
in the front is a walnut crotch that has some great looking
figure in it.

Looks like you got it going your way.

You need to keep as much weight on that pecan as possible. Believe me, it will move a lot.
