I live in Southern California and I am planting citrus trees that are about a year old. I am planting them on a hillside and I am using a dripping system. I would like to know how often and how much water I have to give them daily.

Also, I have a 5 year old orange tree and I want to craft other citrus trees on that orange tree...how do I go about doing that?

Thanks!!

I don't know squat about citrus trees in LA, but here in WI when we plant a tree we water it in, then check the soil every day or so by sticking a finger a few inches into the soil. If it's still damp don't water. Let the soil just dry out, then drench again. Drenched soils are low in oxygen and invite rot rot. Drought is bad for the tree too.
Ask a local nursery for further advice, if one of our CA members doesn't chime in.
