Here's what I did on a 290

First I opened up existing holes and added one right through the center.

Here I cut back the deflector a little. The results were very impressive.

So I did a little grinder work before work this morning and this is what I came up with.. I don't want to mess with the middle to much and make it crazy loud thinking this should be pretty good for now.

Make sure you blow and rinse that muffler out really well. A couple little shavings will ruin that saw in short order.

Ah good thinking I will make sure I do that.. I also didn't do anything to the back of the muffler is that correct ?
