Spare Cylinder OK?

Hard to find parts for an Oleo Mac / Olympyk 480. So I'm stocking up. I got this spare cylinder off ebay. Description said no scoring and that was true. But what about chipped plating right above the exhaust port? It is minor and the distinct pattern makes one wonder how this happened. No piston or rings came with it. Now I'm wondering how much the compression will be compromised and if plating is now prone to flake off.

Thanks. I’m contemplating doing just that. But who knows if a better one might show up. I could install it and just see what compression number results. Fortunately it is just a spare.
