Split saw

Recently I have been purchasing my cedar materials from Blacktail Enterprises , a smaller family owned mill in the area I live in. Tim who is the owner/operator has a nice set up with a Wood-Mizer LT70 bandsaw and also a split saw.
I was there picking up some materials this AM and I took a few pics of the split saw in all it glory with the monster nine (9) foot bar, yup that’s right 108” inches of bar. I want to say its powered by 30hp motor but don’t quote me on that.
Anyways an amazing saw that has a great capacity.

its got a old sled engine in it! say a 440 air cooled, VERY easy to wrench on, and usually cheap to replace as well!!!

Wow that one big bar. How many days does it take to sharpen that chain?
