I decided to plug this in the residential tree question area, because I am writing a book geared toward home gardener reading.

Tonight, I started writing for a book and finished an introduction; which provided my title.

My friends of the last 20 years who know me and my skills said I should proceed with this.

Anyway, I know near zilch about getting something published.

What I will mention; this book will not be like any other. It will share some common knowlege, but a lot of what is not easily accessible in other books.

I will deal with the relationship between landscape design and how the pruning art determines preservation of landscape design. Also to be covered are soil care, drainage, watering, design principles and more.

Have any of you written a book, pamphlet, etc.? Anything you can share?

How did you decide on a publisher? Do they pay up front, or is it residual as years pass?

Did you enjoy your project? What was your topic?

Thanks

Been a long time since I was published, so I can't add anything current.

But... I can say "Best of Luck" =)
