I'm new to working on chainsaws.
I'm looking at an 010AV on ebay, current bid is $36 bidding ends in about an hour.
It says it has 162 psi compression. It also says it has a Nova ignition module, no bar and chain.
It says runs rich at high speed and doesn't idle right.
Would this be a good saw to "practice" on repairing or are parts hard to come by?
Not really looking to turn it around and sell it, just to get some experience with before going after something more costly.
Hopefully, Santa Claus is bringing me a tach and compression gauge for Christmas.:hmm3grin2orange:
