Stihl 024 av hotsaw questions

Hi so I have a stihl 024av and was thinking about turning into a hotsaw. I have never built one before and was hoping to get some advice. I have a fmf fatty pipe I could use but not sure as to what I can do with using a bigger piston, bigger carb, port and polishing etc. I have always wanted to build a hotsaw that runs on just pump gas! Any advice would be much appreciated!

Have you ever ported a 2 stroke before? If you do a search in the chainsaw forum on porting threads, there is a slew of info and photo's to boot.

I have not. I was actually thinking about sending it out to get ported and polished. I personally do not have the tools!
