Stihl 024 – front AV buffer replacement
My brother just picked up a Stihl 024, nice little saw. I noticed the front AV buffer was separated and told him I would give him a hand replacing it. Quick question: Does the tank/handle assembly have to be separated from the engine assembly to replace the front mounts? No problem if I have to…just didn’t know if the mounts could be replaced without splitting the 2 assemblies. Thanks SAW SAFE!
