Does 165 sound like a good comp for this saw?

Maybe my squish was skewed by solder/ technique?

Sorry I know it is confusing[emoji51]. The saw turned into a 024/026 after I found the crank busted in half. It ended up an 026 case, crank, and cylinder with 024 plastics and air filter etc..
It was a cold reading.

I am at about 400 feet.
Central IL is flat and mostly chisel plowed right now. Some of blackest dirt you can find.
I ran the saw in ash bigger than my thigh for a quarter tank it didn't seem like a lot of torque but a lot of rpm.

165 after 1/2 tank (you burned the oil off the rings) and cold is a good thing.

You'll probably land around 180-185 aft a few tanks.

My saws usually gain around 10% after breakin.

It's not a torquey saw, period. The exhaust stock is only like 95-98*.

It takes a ton of work to get more torque out of it.

Any news on this project? Is it doing well?

It is running great, I have a different top end on it now using 2 rings. I have the original cylinder on a case ready to be built as well.
I now have a 026 filter and cover on her, it is a loud angry little saw. I am going to tear it back down and check it out after a few more hours of run time.
It is my busy season for work and I have sold a few projects cause I dont have time.
I am overall very happy with this saw.
Thanks for asking...
