Stihl 025 carb adjust

Hello, I just changed the piston and the cylinder of my 025 and the carb goes crazy now... I though a simple adjustment would be OK.

I tried to adjust the 'L' screw and I can't get a good setting. The chain never stops even if I unscrew the 'LA' adjustment, it's just too fast. If I screw the 'L' adjust too much, the engine stops but there is nothing beetween 'very fast' and stop.

Someone has an idea??

Sounds like you might just have an air leak somewhere. check your crank seals, and the intake boot for tears/leaks.

Like Oldsaw said,probably air leak.Did you check if your throttle linkage is correct.

I found that 2 gaskets are missing....

I will let you know if it fix the problem as soon as I get them.

Yep, 2 missing gaskets will do it every time.
