Thanks. It isn't a Super or MS, just an 'ol 029 (Think they called them Farmboss).

Ordered impulse line, fuel line, fuel filter, seals, rings, and what the heck, piston too (and all the bits that come with that lot).

I've owned several of these saws and when properly tuned with a muffler modification they run quite well. I sold the last one a few months ago, but had it out for several hours cutting some fire wood and it performed really well. The time of cutting allowed me to fine tune the carb and make sure everything was in great working order. Happy Sawing with your Stihl 029!

I will be moding the muffler also. Lots of threads on that.... drill, open more holes!
