Stihl 034 AV. Wrong air filter or wrong filter cover?

This was my dad's old saw that I got running and I always remember it being a pain and losing the filter cover years ago.
The attached picture #1 is the type of current filter and picture #2 is the type of filter that has the post that I believe would be needed so the cover would catch.

I am not sure if the cover is wrong or the filter. The filter cover has a PRO label so I am not sure that is correct.

If any one has a 034 AV and has the original Stihl part number I would appreciate it.

I think all the PRO saws were compensator carb saws, might be a 036 cover?

Both the 034 and 036 switched around filter setups a bit. I attached 034 and 036 IPLs, and a service bulletin for the 036 filter update, and 036 service manual

Thanks, I found that a few days ago. However, with many of the parts discontinued the original part numbers aren't shown for all line items so I can't compare to what I have.

Put up some pics of your saw with the AF cover removed and also with the AF removed. Stihl made some non-backwards compatible upgrades to the tank and air filter assemblies.

Thats a sweet amount of information. Unfortunately, none of my part numbers for the engine cover or air filter cover are in those lists.
For reference my engine cover is 1125 084 0903 and the air filter cover is 1125 141 1002

I would say that the part number you order is usually more of an assembly of different parts, and the part number on the plastic, is the part number for that one piece of that assembly, and not what you would order.
Here is the starter off of a ms170, that is not the part number you would order. Nor is it the partnumber if you are trying to order just the housing.

Some parts are also superseded, with newer replacement parts.

I was going strictly off what is on the back of the covers which should match the parts list since they are not assembled parts but I could be wrong.

Likely the top cover is original to the saw, so you need the correct air filter cover, correct? Put up some pics, like the saw with the covers off, and one of the saw with the air filter off.
