This has been taking up space for a couple years. I'm never going to get to it. Needs rebuild or use for parts. Has spark and turns smooth, but exhaust side of piston is scored. Missing front half of muffler, otherwise complete. $75 and you pay actual shipping cost. No charge for packing or handling.

Well I just happened to see the opportunity for a rescue and can't resist.

I am the one who ended up buying it and I'm working on converting it to a 038 Mag.

I love my 038 mag pop up Piston conversion dual port muffler The only thing I had to put a lower Chinese crankcase and handle because the OEM plastic got brittle after 15 or 20 years of use but it's still got the heart of the sthil mag

Not bad quality
Just make sure you check the gaskets Make sure they're placed correctly.
I think personally they're overpriced to the economy. But they do work I personally like them just hard to find the color you're looking for sometimes

be ready to replace the tank vent to a stihl part (chinese leaks) and swap over everything possible from your old tank assembly, handle, trigger, av bushings, throttle linkage, fuel caps etc. as the chinese parts are not near the quality of the old oem. The one nice thing about them is the fuel tank is translucent making the fuel level visible.
