yes, you need to remove a little over a millimeter on the gasket to match the port, but otherwise it lines up perfect . The latter model mufflers are an exact match along with the intake block. I may be a hack, but it' better than being a douchebag. The same guy was telling another member that he couldn't convert an 08 to points because it lacked the eccentric on the crankshaft. Stihls eccentrics were always in the flywheel.
