good news, changed the Kit last night and it fired in first pull. only started it for 5 minutes and it was working ok. i will check it in details on the weekend. BUT Big thanks to everybody helping me out. i love this forum, people are very helpful. great

The damage to the piston is minor,it can be cleaned up,but frankly the saw will probably run fine as it is because the rings aren't siezed. Tune it up,I would run a heavier 32-1 mix for the first few tanks to lube and loosen things up and it will be fine... they were a great and incredibly tough saw!
