stihl 066 needs some help

Hello,
Got an older stihl 066 that has always been running perfect. Reliabel as can be. The other day one of my guys was cutting away and noticed that the airfilter cap was unscrewed and put it back in place. Not checking if the filter was on right and so the carb was polluted with saw dust.

The 066 stopped running and I got it in to the workshed and cleaned the carb with an air gun. She ran again as should be, next day she started as always however while felling a tree she stopped running and did not run again.. recleaning with air did not help..

Checked the sparkplug, it was working fine but replaced it anyway.

Order a refit set for the carb, havent got it yet.

Since we have had the worst storm ever in my region we got more then a lot to do. All help and suggestions are welcome.

if it still has spark and good compression i would say carb needs a going over

pull the muffler off and take a look at the piston and cylinder. see if it is damaged.
