Stihl 08s Help

Hello all
I was recently gifted an old 08s for my birthday and am in the process of getting her running again (has good spark and compression)
The main issue I have is that even when I follow the correct starting procedure the saw floods and pours fuel out the back of the air filter.
If anyone has any idea what's wrong or what I might be doing wrong please let me know many thanks.

Welcome to AS TJMJ.
Not sure what the problem with the saw is, but regardless of the procedure only choke it until the saw "pops"(tries to start) or the saw pulls over easy as though it wanted to start(sometimes they don't pop). That being said the saw/carb may have issues based on what you're saying.
