Stihl Bow Bar

I don't know if anybody has talk about this previous topic. I got a Stihl bow that is 14". I"m having trouble trying to get a chain made for it. I've heard its possibly 89 drive links. I was wonder if this was correct or if anybody knows the answer.

Mine is 76dl of 63 PM. I think it is called an 18" bow. Is yours 14" tall?

Your dealer should be able to make you up a chain to fit. Just bring the saw and bar. I really want a bow bar

I have a Stihl bow that came on an 056, I will post a picture tonight.

I tried a stihl dealer nobody wants to mess with it because they outlawed them thinking i might sue

i have a poulan bow about that size that runs 84 dl fine..........i just use old 24" loops.
if you ever want to sell that, PM me.
those narrow bars are called clearing bars.

I got four bow saws including that stihl. Two homelite super xl one has 79 drivelinks and the other has 81. A poulan 245 that has 84 dl i think

I found out what chain will fit it. If running on a stihl chainsaw its eighty four drive links same as a 25" stihl chain they sell in the box
