Can somebody with access to the Stihl specifications advise me what the torque value should be for this ???
They did away with the threaded hub and went to a taper like a chuck. I have one that the fan slipped one time, or hub broke. Not sure. But, the replacement literally wore the taper off the crank shaft. So, I am having to replace the motor and the fan. May lap the mating surfaces a little.
Anyhow, I really don't want to poke a hole in the top of a piston.
