The pto side is kinda obvious that the plastic race faces to the crankcase side but the flywheel side can go either way. Cage in or out? Cage was broke up and in pieces so had nothing to look at before removal.
 
You mean crank end? Here’s from the 1125 manual:

“Important- the ball bearing is closed at one side. The open side must be on the inside of the crankcase to guarantee proper lubrication.”
