today i traded an older man who had ms 362 never cut wood he wanted a ms 290 (couldnt get the 362 started) and lucky me with a fairly new 290 in hand traded him i felt bad but i got a brand new saw no paint missing form bottom spark plug was almost new. but also post pics of any of your muff mods on 362s.

That is a heck of a trade and definitely a step or two up.. I did the switch from the 290 to the 362 and it was worth every penny (I got it for $600 out the door) so I still got a good deal, but your deal is amazing. I'd also recommend paying him a little extra with "sweat equity".
