Got my 290 out yesterday. Started up good (2 cold, 2 warm) . Cut good too. After a few test cuts noticed chain was spinning on it's own a little so I loosened bolts and tightened up. Reved it up again to check got lose again. Played with la screw any got it to stop spinning. At this point idling was little off whack but nothing major. Reved up again came loose again. Kept playing with it to no avail. And idling got bad so I made sure high and low screws were in order. Saw died a few times but got screws in order now or close enough it idles ok and starts up fine.
But now saw vibrates like mad even when idling and when u rev it up vibrates terrible. Not safe to use right now.
What could be wrong?
Side note- had problems last ur also with starting fixed and small things like chain getting loose and having hard time fixing it.
Small saw no problems trimmer blowers powerhead with attatchments no problems
Small saw chain ajusted fixed powerhead fixed blowers no problems just had to fix idling on handheld yesterday got it fixed
What im asking is isn't it one of wiefd having all tjese problems on big saw because it's a stihl? And everything else fixed now.
