So i was talking with an old guy from our one horse town.

and he said he use to have a stihl 75.

but i didnt know stihl made a 70 series saw.

can anyone help me with this?
 
Per acres, their was a 070 and a 070 AV:

AHH, some younger members here LOL. Stihl indeed made the 075AV, a heavy brute with lots of torque. They were known for shedding parts due to vibration.
The 070,the 090's little brother, is still being made for the south east Asia market, probably in the mahogany forests.

Yep was the precursor to the 076. See if he still has it hidden away in the back of the barn.
 
Yeah he still has it.
he is giving it to his grandson.

Me and Him are collecting old saws and restoring them.
Its pretty cool to see all the different saws stihl made and how they are all so different
