Stihl tools

Interested in buying some of Stihl service tools.

The Testing Tool Kit that Stihl has for pres/vac testing cases and carbs #0000 890 1701 uses a vacuum pressure pump made by Power Probe p/n LRHV 90 for $149.00 without the test flanges.

Does anybody know who makes or where to buy (other that Stihl) the testing flanges that are in the kit #0000 890 1701?

I noticed this on the local Craigslist, price seems kind of high, unless the kit is really top quality.

You could go with a Mityvac automotive kit

That kit runs $375 and its made by Stihl, I'd say it's high quality. It comes with all the stuff to block off everything and the pump and gauge too. Any little piece you need to get it done is in that kit for any saw you need to test.

OR

Mighty Vac is $40 and you make the fittings.

That money is better invested in other tools. I know Stihl dealers who do not have nor need that kit. You can make everything that is in that kit. Start out with a mighty vac. And go from there.
