I still ain't cut one stick of firewood, or moved a single stick to the house yet.
Spent Saturday morning replacing the the fuel tank in my pickup, then it rained on-and-off all afternoon... just enough to knock the dust down, not enough to relieve the drought.
Thought maybe yesterday... but nope, needed to do a bit of other maintenance on the pickup and then, somehow, the kids managed to cause the golf cart to spit the rings out!
And there's a friiggin' list of things needing done before crappy weather sets in (one of which is firewood)...

Whine... whine... whine... whine... whine...

Beer...beer...beer...beer,,,,,bourbon! :msp_w00t:

Truck maintenance is a bummer, sure. I hammered a stump last week and tore the power steering gear box outta' The Great White Hope,,being the kinda' guys we are,,we manned up and gotter' done.
(i aint gonna' mention blowin' the tire off the bead near a 1/2 mile from the road after hittin' said stump)
Kids are gonna' break stuff,,that what kids do, stuff it in the shed. Later this winter or next spring you'll have a "project",,and a reason to swill a cold frostie while looking it over!

"Still no wood",,C'mon Spidey!! Why you lyin', shiftless,,no good,,why I oughtta',,,,buy you a beer to help you chillax!!
Yer' wood stacks are LEGENDARY!! You're sittin' fat, man. Take a pill and chill. Come winter, when the temps are arctic-like, the winds are howlin' and the snow's blowin' you'll have plenty of time to get your wood laid up!!

All is well, Peace. :tongue2:

Time to pull up the big girl panties and get busy old man.. :msp_wink::msp_razz: Maybe 08150 will give ya a pair of big girl panties from a snacky ....

I'm kinda in the same boat.. I got 2 pick up loads done but that's it. I have some outside finishing to do on the house.. should be done by thursday.. I hope.. Then back to wood...

I'm in the same boat, although I do have wood left over from last year. Just keep at it what you can. It's just now getting cool enough to even want to think about splitting wood. :D

I'd rather enjoy this weather and $$$$$ about cutting in the snow and cold later...

We got close to 1/2" of the wet stuff Saturday. About felt like dancing in the rain for a while, but thought better of it. Don't need the white coat guys having any MORE reasons to be after me.

Getcha some Viagra. They claim you'll have all the wood ya want. And why why why would you call the doctor if ya got wood for more than four hours? I need it all winter.:msp_thumbup:

And don't forget since the patent is gone they cost half price! And lets be honest they are only for our heart, the original idea behind the invention.... :msp_thumbsup:

Can't speak for your weather in your neck of the woods but I think you still have a little time before the nasties hit. Don't you have Indian Summer there? Should be a few good days to get the wood to the house. An as others have said, your prepared boy. Unlike some folks your way ahead of the game. Part of reason you did that is so you would not get caught with your pants down and not have enough wood for winter. Your pants may have slipped a little but there hardly down around your knees:) Get the wood you need to the house for this year and if you get some cutting in before old man winter arrives thats great, if not, your prepared for this years winter wood at least. Good luck with having some favor for getting everything done you wish too.
