Currently living in Hawaii and wanting to get into milling some of our exotic woods.
If I cut down a tree should I allow the logs to cure or dry for some time or mill it green and let the slabs dry that way? It is generally in the 60-90 humidity range depending on the time of year, so I doubt they will dry or split much? Was thinking about milling them ~3” thick.
Just curious how to go about this the best way?
