Strange Windsor 50R safety chain

I found some odd looking Windsor 50R 3/8 lo pro safety chain while sorting through my chain collection. This has a very long raker which also functions as the bumper link. It's somewhat bizarre looking. Anyone seen it and is it ancient? The bumper link protrudes nearly 1/2 an inch when the chain is tightly curled.

I guess that geometry was about the only way to keep people from spending a couple mins
knocking them off with the bench grinder.
We did it with about everything else that was "shark finned"
You have to give them credit for a slick idea, even IF was contrary to our desires.

With that mile long ramp, it may cut pretty smooth. If the rakers need to be taken down, does one need to file the whole ski slope? I haven't used this chain, just pulled it out of a supply I purchased recently.
