Tecomec piston kits

Anyone using a Tecomec brand piston assembly in your saw? I am going to use one in my 026 and want any feedback or suggestions. Thanks.

I have used them on a few Stihls. Seem to be good quality, no problems so far.

I've used them, but they aren't the same finish/fit as the Stihl. The pin is way heavier then the Stihl version which doesn't help acceleration, and the rings on the last tecomec I used were 1.5mm not the 1.2mm used by Stihl.

The 026 pistons sold on EBay by lsquintos are actually new Stihl pistons, for a fraction of the price of new. I've used plenty of these...

I have used tecomec with good success. It is the only aftermarket parts my husky dealer will bring in.

The buttheads quit making the SXL pistons. Said their dies were worn out.
