Stihl manuals from the 70s-80s

Looking for manuals for my new MS290 and my old 031AV. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
:cheers:

I've got the O31 manuals along with many others. Nothing scanned though. I will photocopy if anyone wants to pay for a copy (whatever Office Max charges). Or, if I ever get time, I can scan a few.

Here are some I know I have. Also have many others if I dig around, from our old Homelite dealership whrere we also sold Remington and Bolens saws.

Husqvarna 25R String Trimmer

Are there any manuals for string trimmers? I have a Husky 25R and could use any and/or anything that is available.

Husky 55

Hi Again.A friend just purchased a Husqvarna 55. I am looking for a Service Manual, IPL and Owners Manual if anyone has copies of these.
Thanks;

Earl

PS Not sure of the year, possibly mid 1990's?

Wouldn't it be easier to post links to the service manuals or is there a reason it can't be done? I was just thinking that there is 414 pages of replies but people can't search threw them because most of the links for manuals are sent in PMs. I know it would take some time but wouldn't it be better if there was just a couple of pages and someone could just look threw them and find thier saw and click on the link to the manual and be done? Or are some of the manuals not uplaoded on sites and people send a pdf or something from thier own computer?

Not trying to criticise, just thought that might be easier but I'm sure there is a reason!

Good suggestion. This thread isn't very useful anymore. Perhaps at one time it served a purpose, but for the most part these days its just people making queries that fall on deaf ears and others who run up their post counts saying hello to everyone who makes a request. Can't really blame anyone for the thread going to seed though. The majority of people who post requests are one-and-done posters.

I posted in here for a manual a while ago and got a "hello" from someone. But that same person sent me a PM with a link to the manual I was looking for. So the "hello's" I believe are just there to let you know you have a PM with some info. But I was just hinking that this it would be much user friendly if a person could just open up the chainsaw manual thread and scroll down to the link to thier saw. No need for anyone to reply.

I know it would take some work by someone but would be much more user friendly and wouldn't require anyone to answer. I'm sure almost every manual was covered in this thread 3 or 4 times over again, would be a great wealth of info if all the manuals were linked on a couple pages.

Might be a reason like copyright or something but sure would be nice.

Now you are thinking.
Lawyers would shut down the complete site in a heartbeat.
