Can I make 12" tongue & groove paneling with white pine or will I have trouble with it cupping?

It's air dryed.

Great answer for you...................yes and no.

Its strictly dependant upon how it was milled and how it was dried. I have lots (EWP is one of my local species) and the boards with the least reaction to cupping were felled a year before sawing. So two years after being felled, one year after being air dried, even the 17" wide boards aren't cupping.

The pine that was across my lane a month ago and got milled is already showing signs of cupping.

These logs were down about 8 months and probably stickered for 8 also.
