Weeping cherry tree has several small borer holes but has been treated with a chemical the local supplier recommended. Anything I can do or is this tree doomed?

Thanks,

Mark

Up here most Prunus are short lived plants.

I think it is an environmental thing, I've seen a few in ideal spots that do very well. I think maybe reggular broad spectrum amendments (I refuse to say FERT any more!!) like my favorite seawee juice by Emerald Isle.

You need to identify the borer and make your applications when the adult in around laying the eggs. I use Astro mainly for borer control but timing is important. The tree may survive depending on alot of factors.
