I have a huge Fruitless Mulberry tree in my backyard (around 20 years old or more). I recently had a sprinkler system installed and the gardener hacked into a lot of roots in order to dig the trenches. Gradually, the leaves have been turning yellow and dropping. I'm wondering if this tree is in shock, or is it dying? Is there any way to know?

Post a few pics.

Keep it watered.

Next year you will know for sure.
