Could someone help with advice on germinating Acorns, Persimmon and Black Gum Tupelo seeds. My acorns I gather with hook roots sprouting still seem to rot. Is it probable they have the bug in them even though they send a hook root? Any advice on persimmon germination would help. Black Gum not so hard but I will take all the help I can get. I plant about 150 tree seedlings a year on my property that I buy from extension agency. Just doing my Part and digging it. Pun intended.
