Remember this thread? http://www.arboristsite.com/communi...an-old-muffler-it-is-crimped-together.267097/ Tried the fire pit method and I will admit that I couldn't get the insides to catch and burn. Next try is a propane torch.
But what after that? I still don't see how this muffler passes exhaust. I think a MM is in order for it. Maybe just a small hole right above the stock pipe. In a perfect world, I would open muffler and remove the internal spark screen. Then put a new screen over the new hole and old pipe. And put a couple of holes in the old pipe. I have done some reading via search on here and am off to do some more.
Thanks!
