trying to id wood from a picture on craigslist. its free for pickup just would like to know before i pick it up

Not white pine - branches are not at the same place around the trunk, but I agree it's pine.

Look at the second piece of wood from the left side. Clearly there is two seperate rows of limbs around the trunk. That's why I voted white pine.

I vote White Pine. Sometimes branches aren't evenly spaced on WP. Tried finding a picture but nothing good. But I did find a nesting tree.

Picture is pretty grainy but I would lean towards spruce. White wood and shaggy bark. Also the way the bark is rubbed off in the second round to the left appears to be more a characteristic of spruce than pine. If we had a more clear picture of the bark it would be easier to ID 100%.
