Ok fellas wish I had a video camera but those of you coming to the NC GTG will get to see and run this thing. It still holds its rpm with the 8 pin dang thing just flat out flies even with the 20 inch bar buried in red oak as a matter of fact I think it could probably handle a 9 pin. I never expected my 359 to be this fast after it was muffler modded, ported, and changed to 8 pin sprocket. Now I cant wait to tear into my 395 just putting it off until the warranty runs out.
 
Yep.

9 is a big jump even ported 70-80 cc saws struggle to pull a 9 pin 3/8 gear faster than 8 pin.

395 just does not have it stock to pull 10 well even with short bar, but ported it should be able to. However you may find 9 produces more consistent times.
