I think someone didn't know crap about firewood when they put that together. It shows hard maple as better than red oak almost equal btu's to hickory. List red oak as hard to split but gum and apple as easy splitting? It says white oak is easy to burn but white pine not. Some of those numbers are right but there is enough bad info there to discount the whole chart.

I have yet to find one that is completely accurate and comprehensive and that lines up with my experience of cutting splitting and burning wood.
