Anybody tied up their own saddle using Matt Cornell's Valiant Pads? If so lets see them and hear your thoughts!

I got a set of pads for the older Matt Cornell Rope Saddle and I’m still deciding on how to go about it. Probably a good winter project for me.

If you’re checking around google and other searches, include MCRS in your search, a lot of the setups should be relevant to a Valiant saddle too.

One thing I’m certain of, is that I will be using large ISC rings for the hip Ds, and either CT or Rock Exotica TriRig rigging plates for lower Ds to use with a lanyard ( like seen on TreeMotion and others) and to terminate the rope bridge ends with double overhand stopper knots.

I’m thinking about using polyester hollow 12 strand Yalex 3/8”. So easy to work with and I can make pretty splices in some spots instead of knots.
I should practice splicing double braid.
