Arborist Article in W.S.J.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Check out the "Step Away from the Chippers" in the WallStreet Journal (yes, some of us are G.D. Capitalists !) Friday, 21 Dec 2007. Nice read on controls imposed on homeowners' and arborists' cutting. Fines, court appearances etc...
Do you ever do:
Hatracking ?
Topping ?
Flush cutting ?
Tipping ?
Lion Tailing ?

They're even using the term "Tree Abuse"

Can you send a link or copy the article and post it? ....otherwise you need an online subscription to read on the wsj website or go to a library.

Can you tell us what day it was published and which section?

The article was called " Step Away from the Chipper", 17(?) Dec 2007.
It wasn't saved, but: libraries, online search for "free articles", and Wall Street Online does have a free two week trial. In a month or two WSJ.com will be free with the new owner's deals, Rubert Murdoch. Nice surprise that there's interest in the WSJ here :givebeer: . More capitalists work trees.
