At the risk of asking a question that has no doubt been worn out, please excuse a newbie to this forum. I want to know how to get ahold of the person(s) that do the "walkerized" saw mod's or anyone else that might have this type of skill. Thanks ahead of time... See ya.

If you're serious about running a tuned saw, do yourself a favor and send it to Dennis Greffard, Dan Henry, or Ken Dunn. These guys have the tools, the know-how, and they all give a saw a really bad-ass attitude. Mike Rupely and Gary Hunt do fantastic work also but seem to have their hands full with other things??

http://www.walkerssawshop.com or http://www.madsens1.com - both of those shops do a "working man's" hop-up, which consists of some piston mods, porting, and if you ask nicely, a dual-port muffler.

Hey jacob,

The first two saws I had modded were by Madsen's. Unfortunately, they abide by the US regulations and don't mod mufflers. Now I have 2 Walkerized saws that run very nicely, and 4 Greffardized saws that are awesome.

Bob, welcome to ASite

Roger, here, a certified arborist (or is it certifiably nuts?) from Shoreline
