Wanting to trade for a MS441C

I've been wanting a MS441C for awhile......I've got saws to trade, or port work, rebuilds, whatever. A blemished saw is fine with me......after all, it's just a tool. Pretty ain't important.

I have a brand new one with 1 hour on it but I was going to keep it , break it in and after the warranty is up send it off to get ported.:msp_unsure:

Bad timing Randy:biggrin:... I just sold mine this week and might have traded for a 372. Oh well..that's how my luck works. I was happy to sell the saw though.

i picked up a few saws from another member here...

funny thing is, that was the same 441 that you and john were trying to get me to run at the virginia gtg,,...

you want one to keep or play with for alittle while ????

Sorry mate, I'd had a 441c sitting on the fix it shelf for a week and I was thinking it was going to be yours. It was a real good runner but suddenly started acting weird. Started easy, but wouldn't rev out and smoked a lot, turned itself off. Unfortunately i pulled the covers off and found one of the wires to the carb and broken. Cut, stripped and crimped, now it's good as new. Keep looking, you'll get a decent one. Have been a couple going real cheap lately, there was that near new ported one for $650 not so long ago, and another near new saw for same or less. I nearly bought one of those myself, it's a crazy price! My saw stables pretty full at the moment though.

i guess it's running okay ...
i'm not sure if i like it though..

when i gave it to ya, it was a nice running, happy little saw..

now, the thing seems angry and nasty, kinda like it's pissed off at every piece of wood it sees...
do you think after i run it summore it'll calm back down and be a happy little saw again ???

next time i get in dozerdan's neighborhood i'm takin it along, then we'll call it "the 346 eater"...

Getting a 441 ain't a big deal.....I've got a non-C model.

It would have to have a lot of work to beat a good 346. I have an Mooberized 026. I really like it bc of the light weight, but it doesn't come close to the 346 he built.
