weekend hickory haul

dhibbs75 and i took down 8 hickory trees,, the guy wanted them down so we took advantage of the situation,,, 3 1/2 hours of work and this is what we have,, going to be roughly 3 cords when cut and split

Sweet!! Probably my favorite wood to burn. But maybe that's because the father-in-law has brought me about 5 loads that looked very similar to that. Doesn't hurt that it's in the top couple of woods for Btu's either.
