ah come on I like my little wild thing

I have another one sitting in the shed that I got for 5 bucks that I need to turn up at some point, ms260 is on the bench right now tho.

Favorite for me has to be the ms660 and least favorite is pretty much any newer strato poulan.

Favorite depends on use but….

My slightly modded MS250. With the addition of a Chinese carb the saw went from a cuss word generator to a lightweight reliable friend that rides the ATV.

MS440 is light, powerful and has been uber reliable. It is all the “big saw” I’ll ever need.

My FIL recently gave me a MS241C and wow what a great limber. 16” picco and good power combined with low weight make it a joy.

Hate is a strong word but I had a Husqvarna 35 top handle that I hated. I gave that POS away and danced inside when it was gone.

FWIW, I only own four saws, so they would have to be my favorites - MS271, MS180, CS400, and CS310. I only have 2.5 acres that I have to maintain. These saws are enough to do that.

I used a friend's MS250 for some work at his place and it was a decent saw for when I was able to start it.

For haters, any Chinese saw. I don't appreciate cheap Chinese crap.

A "sleeper" I discovered are pre-merger/acquisition Shindaiwa.

I changed a pull start rope on a 288 yesterday which reminded me why I like quality stuff. The difference between well-made pro saws and disposables is evident with the captive starter spring, no "sproing" and ball of wadded up spring steel when you take it apart.

5 favourite saws.
The ones I kept when I downsized from close to 20 ( retired) and kept..
Echo 355T
Echo 590 ( Timberwolf)
Echo 800 P
Stihl MS 362
Stihl 038 AV

Lest favourite saws//..

Echo cs 400 The saw none of the crew wanted to use.
Echo cs400 F The other saw that none of the crew wanted to use. Even with the tool less adjustment.

For my guys, they either wanted one of the Echo 355Ts' or one of the Stihls, or the 590..I don't know why.. they worked just fine, just got no love.. from anybody.

Echo 56 volt electric.. It's my toss it in the back of the truck Winter saw. It works amazing, never won't start, no worries about fuel, but a saw that doesn't make any noise? That's just wrong! On so many levels.
