I bought a new Oregon 20" bar .325-78 DK .050 gauge. The bar says Poulan PRO on it but my saw is an Echo CS-520.

So will any 20" chain with a .325 pitch and 78 links, .050 gauge, work?

Do non-anti kickback chains cut better?

You will need to get a 20" chain that is the right number of drive links for your saw. I think anti kickback (safety chains) cut slower. If you want something to really rip thru thr wood you should invest in a full chisel chain with a square ground corner. Any chisel chain will cut better than a safety chain.:chainsaw:

Any chain with the same specs. should work fine.

Anti kickback chains do cut slower.

I recommend the 2 chisel .325 chains from Oregon. 20 LP[fastest and still safety chain] or if you want a little more anti-kickback protection then try 33SL which will cut almost right up there with the 20LP. The only non safety chains sold today in the 2 most poplar brands are the Oregon 20 LP .404 and the Stihl RSLK 3/8.
