Husky vs. Stihl fights always amaze me. 
OK, tomorrow, I'll put away the Husky 257 and bring out my favorite to replace it: my Stihl MS361. It never fails to start and run strong. 'nuff said.

Never had a problem with my old Poulan or Echo saws. It must be a Stihlavarna thing.
Choke and throttle lock, pull until it pops. Choke off, pull until it starts - usually no more than 3 pulls once choke off.

Pretty much every saw I own starts in three pulls when I'm done tuning it and none are stock. I have my cs620 starting In two pulls. One choke and one without regardless of what it did with the choke. Low speed carb adjustments are key on any saw for starting.
