I picked up these 2 poulans today from a guy who was gonna scrap them. $30 later they were in the back of my truck, saved from the scrap pile. First is a micro Deluxe 25. Good p&c and compression, no spark. This saw has electronic ign., what we think bad coil? The front handle is bent a bit and one tooth on the starter pawl is broken. Not sure what the future is for this one...But the 3400, thats another story. The saw was lightly used from what I see and will clean up nicely. Its in great shape, except for a broken side cover:censored:. This had a great p&c, 140psi and good spark. Carb kit and fuel lines is all this will need!! Also the orig b&c are in great shape. VERY happy with this one.

I think I have a handle and coil to fit that. It's yours for postage if you need it. Just PM me.

I'm sorry to de-rail this thread slightly but Black Friday:confused:

Over here we have what's called Blackeye friday, which is the last working Friday before crimbo. Most of the building companies work the morning (just cleaning up and so on) and have a massive drinking session in the afternoon.

Its a Friday and after a few beers there's usually a bit of mayhem at chucking out time, thats whay its called Blackeye Friday.

Oh, err, sorry. ahem... as you were:monkey:

Good find on the saws.

seafoam,high heat paint,PB blaster,tool oil,Toro touch up paint,more PB blaster,and a 1/2" impact ........looks like your all set.

That micro is the same saw as my little Craftsman, or very close to it. It's gonna be my first porting project, after I practice on a dead blower.

Nice find again Joe!! :) I see that 3400 is an early model. I have never heard, date wise, when they made the minor changes, which aren't very noticable. First thing I noticed, it has the small screws and rod for the rear antivibe. Another thing I have found on one I have, is the oil cap is different also, and won't interchange, at least on the one I came across.

Only other things I was able to find was some extra strengthening in the boss's for the antivibe areas, and a spot or two in the crank case, on the later ones.

Good lookin saw!!!
