What insecticide for pine tip moth?

Can you spray the whole thing or are you looking for a systemic?

I'd use spinosad (Conserve SC) as my first choice if you can spray the tree - but admittedly I haven't had these as a problem around here...not a lot of pine, and there is usually something else that kills them first!

Publication recommends checking with Extension (I thought that is who they are...) for chemical recommendations.

This publication lists 4 different organophophates...hello 1981

We don't have those things here, but wouldn't BtK work? We use it for other types of moths and caterpillars.

Organophosphates? Gives me shivers thinking about spraying that stuff again, having to get suited up like an astronaut
